Swedish Massage
Swedish massage is what comes to mind when most people think about massage. It's purpose is to relax the entire body, but it also has a number of other health benefits. Swedish massage therapy improves blood circulation, promotes tissue healing, helps the body removes toxins, improves flexibility, eases tension and helps with pain management.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage therapy is similar to Swedish massage, but the deeper pressure is beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints).
Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. This essential “time element” has to do with the viscous flow and the piezoelectric phenomenon: a low load (gentle pressure) applied slowly will allow a viscoelastic medium (fascia) to elongate.
Trauma, inflammatory responses, and/or surgical procedures create Myofascial restrictions that can produce tensile pressures of approximately 2,000 pounds per square inch on pain sensitive structures that do not show up in many of the standard tests (x-rays, myelograms, CAT scans, electromyography, etc.)
Dynamic Resistance Stretching and Strengthening
During this system of stretching, the therapist and recipient actively
work together to help the body become more flexible, strong, and stable.
Craniosacral
CST is a non-invasive, hands-on therapy that aims to enhance the body’s own
healing capabilities. CST uses extremely light pressure and myofascial release to ease restrictions in
the bodily flow of cerebrospinal fluid thus nourishing and improving central nervous system functioning.
This process is intended to relieve pain and dysfunction. Craniosacral Therapy is also hailed as a master therapy for
treating injuries to the head.
Sports Massage
Sports massage therapy is geared toward athletes of every kind. It can be used as a means to enhance pr-event preparation and reduce recovery time for maximum performance during training or after an event.
Athletes have discovered that specially designed sports massage is a useful component in a balanced training regimen as it promotes flexibility, reduces fatigue, improves endurance, helps prevent injuries and prepares their body and mind for optimal performance
Hot Stone
Hot stone massage therapy melts away tension, eases muscle stiffness and increases circulation and metabolism. Each hot stone massage session promotes deeper muscle relaxation through the placement of smooth, water-heated stones at key points on the body.
The premise behind hot stone massage therapy is that the direct heat of the stones relaxes muscles, allowing the therapist access to deeper muscle layers. Combining hot stone with a full body massage provides a healing and effective experience. The hot stones have a sedative effect that can relieve chronic pain, reduce stress and promote deep relaxation.
(These techniques are not individually priced & can be brought into any standard Therapeutic Massage)

COVID-19 NOTE: It is left up to the discretion of the client whether or not they would be more comfortable wearing a mask or not, including the therapist. I place great importance upon an absolutely clean anti-viral presentation.
